Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Watt Avenue in Arden-Arcade

 
ARDEN-ARCADE, CA (February 7, 2019) – A man was killed following a pedestrian accident Thursday evening in Sacramento, CHP Officials said.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:19 p.m. at the intersection of Watt Avenue and Arden Way.
 
A witness told investigators that a male pedestrian was picking items on the roadway when he was struck by a silver truck.
 
The man sustained major injuries and was taken by responding paramedics to a hospital. Despite life-saving measures, the victim did not survive and was declared dead.
 
Further details, including the identity of the deceased, were not immediately available. The incident remains under investigation.
