April Zoglauer Killed in Tragic Hit-and-Run Crash on Blossom Hill Road [San Jose, CA]

San Jose, CA (October 26, 2023) On Tuesday evening, 21-year-old April Zoglauer of San Jose, died after a tragic hit-and-run crash on Blossom Hill Road.

According to San Jose police, the fatal accident happened around 8:40 p.m. near Winfield Boulevard.

Reports say that Zoglauer was driving eastbound on a black 2008 Nissan sedan that collided with a southbound white 2013 Hyundai sedan.

Officials say 2 men were driving the Hyundai and it was reported stolen but that the theft had not been reported at the time of the crash. The suspects fled the scene before authorities arrived at the scene.

Authorities say that Zoglauer was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries and was later pronounced dead. Officials say that doctors were able to deliver her baby.

SJPD are investigating the disastrous 2-vehicle accident and are currently searching for the suspects and their vehicle who remains at large.
