28-Year-Old Man Dies in Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash on Loop 375

El Paso, TX (November 10, 2023) On Wednesday, 28-year-old Antonio Zubia and several other motorists were involved in a chain-reaction crash on Loop 375 that killed a 28-year-old man.

According to the El Paso Police, the deadly multi-vehicle crash happened at about 5:29 p.m. at Loop 375 between Pebble Hills and Edgemere.

Officials say that Zubia was driving a northbound heavy tow truck that struck the rear of a Ford Edge, the impact of the crash caused a chain-reaction crash.

Authorities say that the Ford Edge was pushed towards a Dodge Charger, then into a 2000 Honda Accord. Moreover, the Ford Edge burst into flames and was redirected to hitting the back of a a 2000 Ford Ranger.

Furthermore, 3 more vehicles were caught in the melee, a 2015 Toyota Camry, a 2008 Pontiac G5, and a 2023 Hyundai Elantra.

Reports say that all vehicles except the 2023 Hyundai Tucson, and a 2023 Hyundai Elantra caught fire.

Medics transported all drivers to the hospital, except for the 28-year-old male driver of the 2000 Honda Accord, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the deadly multi-vehicle crash and have not released further information at this time.
