Long Beach Police Officer Died in Ocean Boulevard Car Crash
Long Beach, CA (June 04, 2020)– On Thursday afternoon, a 33-year-old Long Beach police officer Anton Fischer, died in a car crash near Ocean Boulevard and Esperanza Avenue.
The crash occurred at around 2:25 p.m. on June 4. Dispatched officers arrived and located an SUV and the motorcyclist on the scene.
According to reports, Fischer riding his motorcycle was on his way to work when collided with an SUV. However, what leads to this fatal accident remains unspecified.
Paramedics immediately transported Fischer to a nearby hospital, but he died while undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, the unidentified SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officials.
Further investigation is ongoing.
