Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Modesto
Modesto, CA (December 21, 2023) – Anton Cooley, 44, of Modesto sustained fatal injuries following an accident on College Avenue Friday afternoon.
It was about 5:30 p.m. when a 2005 Honda Civic driven by a Modesto woman struck Anton Cooley, while he was crossing College Avenue.
The medical team rushed the Modesto man to a hospital, and he was initially expected to survive.
However, the authorities later discovered that Cooley died from his injuries.
The Honda driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigation.
