Collision on WildFlower Drive Injures Police Officer
Antioch, CA (July 07, 2022) – On Monday night, Antioch Police Officer Lundin sustained injuries in a t-bone crash on Hillcrest Avenue.
The traffic incident took place at about 9:32 at the intersection with WildFlower Drive.
According to the investigators, Officer Lundin was responding to Code 3 (lights and sirens) to a house that was caught on fire due to fireworks.
As she slowly drove into the intersection, a driver traveling at a high rate of speed T-boned Officer Lundin’s patrol vehicle on the passenger side.
Responding officers requested two AMR units at the scene.
They rushed Officer Lundin to an area hospital with minor injuries. They say she is in good spirits.
