Pedestrian Accident on East Tregallas Road Killed 68-Year-Old Antioch Man
Antioch, CA (October 8, 2020) – On Wednesday, a 68-year-old Antioch man lost his life in a pedestrian accident on East Tregallas Road.
Authorities responded to the crash at around 10:10 p.m. near Garrow Drive. Apparently, a vehicle struck a pedestrian.
Moreover, police said the victim was not in a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident.
Rescuers took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead there a short time later.
The authorities withheld his identity pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the suspect driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers. Investigators said it did not appear drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
