People Injured in Fatal Collision in San Francisco
San Francisco, CA (June 19, 2022) – On Sunday, a 22-year-old Antioch man sustained fatal injuries in a DUI collision on Highway 80.
Officers received the crash report at about 2:55 a.m. on the westbound freeway just west of Treasure Island.
Officers say a 2007 Infiniti M45 sedan slowed down due to possible mechanical problems. However, the vehicle was rear-ended by a 2014 Nissan Frontier pickup truck.
Unfortunately, the man in the rear seat of the Infiniti died.
The paramedics rushed a 21-year-old man also riding the Infiniti to a hospital with major injuries.
Moreover, the 22-year-old woman in the front passenger seat sustained major injuries.
The rescuers also rushed the 22-year-old San Francisco woman driving the Infinite to a hospital. Then, they later arrested her on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The 36-year-old man driving the Nissan sustained minor injuries. The medical team rushed him to a hospital.
Meanwhile, the CHP is investigating the fatal collision in San Francisco.
