Anthony Vasquez Dies in Crash on 48th Street and Indian School Road in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (January 29, 2022) – Saturday morning, 27-year-old Anthony Vasquez died in a crash on 48th Street and Indian School Road.

The fatal auto-pedestrian crash in Phoenix happened at around 10:30 a.m on January 29.

Phoenix Police said Vasquez was crossing the street when he was hit by a car.

EMS took him to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officers.

Speed and impairment weren’t involved in the Phoenix crash.

Further investigation is ongoing.
