Woman Killed, Anthony Valencia Injured in Dos Palos Motorcycle Accident

 
DOS PALOS, CA (August 4, 2019) – A woman was killed and a man was seriously injured after a car struck the motorcycle they were riding Sunday evening on a Merced County road.
 
The crash happened around 9:20 p.m. at Arroya Avenue and Linden Road. A 41-year-old Anthony Valencia Rode a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle, accompanied by a 38-year-old Dos Palos woman.
 
They headed northbound on Arroyo Avenue at approximately 40 mph. After that, a black Honda car struck the motorcycle. In addition, police stated driver ran a stop sign prior to hitting the motorcycle.
 
Following the crash, the motorist failed to stop and render aid. As a result, the driver immediately fled the scene.
 
The impact ejected Valencia and the woman from the motorcycle. As a result, the arriving paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
 
In addition, Valencia suffered a broken right leg. As a result, Valencia became hospitalized.
