Anthony Romero Arrested in Hit-and-Run Collision on Slater Road [Ferndale, WA]

Driver Injured in Ferndale Hit-and-Run Collision

Ferndale, WA (July 07, 2022) – On Saturday afternoon, the authorities arrested 57-year-old Anthony Romero in a hit-and-run collision on Slater Road that injured a person.

The authorities say that the victim was traveling on Slater Road when he passed a vehicle that was about to turn right.

Instead of turning, the driver of the second vehicle followed the first vehicle to the intersection at Lake Terrell Road.

A verbal altercation took place and Anthony Romero sideswiped the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene.

Luckily, the victim only incurred minor injuries.

Later on, the authorities located Anthony Romero at his home and he admitted that he struck the victim’s car. Though he said that he was unaware that he had hit the victim.

The perverse actions of a reckless driver can increase the likelihood of traffic collisions. If you are a driver, pay close attention to those around you. Always keep a considerable distance from others just in case harm is near.

Importantly, remember that leaving a crash scene is a crime.
