Laytonville Man Dies after Car Travels Down Embankment near New Long Valley Road
LAKE COUNTY, CA (June 5, 2019) – Authorities identified 30-year-old Anthony Bernard Resh-Jarvis of Laytonville as the man killed in a crash near New Long Valley Road.
According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened on Highway 20, at about 3:40 PM. For unknown reasons, a westbound 2009 Mazda veered off the highway and traveled 75 feet down the embankment.
Unfortunately, Resh-Jarvis succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fatal crash. Authorities also noted that the victim was not secured in a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
