Anthony Medina Killed in Semi-trailer Crash on Highway 126 [Castaic, CA]

Castaic, CA (February 10, 2023) – On Thursday, Anthony Medina, 30, of Santa Paula, sustained fatal injuries following a semi-trailer crash on Highway 126.

The fatal collision took place around 3:30 a.m. west of Wolcott Way, near the Chiquita Canyon Landfill.

According to the CHP, the collision involved a Freightliner semi-trailer, a Volkswagen sedan, and a Honda sedan. 

Apparently, the big rig was attempting to make a U-turn and the Volkswagen struck the side of the semi’s trailer.

The Volkswagen driver, Anthony Medina, lost his life at the accident scene.

Responding officers closed the freeway in both directions as they investigated the multi-vehicle crash west of Wolcott Way.
