Anthony Martinez Arrested in Vehicle Crash on San Miguel Avenue [Santa Rosa, CA]

Santa Rosa, CA (October 6, 2022) On Tuesday evening, 18-year-old Anthony Martinez and his 17-year-old passenger were injured in a vehicle crash on San Miguel Avenue.

Authorities say that Martinez was driving a a white Infiniti at high-speed at around 6:40 p.m. in the area of San Miguel Avenue in northwest Santa Rosa.

Officials attempted to pull him over but Martinez fled the traffic stop, The suspect drove his vehicle into a residential neighborhood. Consequently, Martinez lost control of his vehicle and collided with 2 parked vehicles.

Both Martinez and his 17-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Sonoma County Sheriff deputies say that they found an unregistered Glock pistol and a 16-round magazine made for the gun inside Martinez’ vehicle.

Deputies booked Anthony Martinez into the Sonoma County Jail. Officials say that he is charged with child endangerment, possession of an unregistered firearm and possession of a concealed loaded firearm in public.
