1 Person Dead in La Palma Multi-Vehicle Accident on La Palma Avenue and Moody Street

LA PALMA, CA (December 19, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a disastrous multi-vehicle crash on La Palma Avenue and Moody Street killed one person.

The incident happened at around 1:00 p.m. on La Palma Avenue and Moody Street.

According to reports, the crash involved three vehicles, including a man accused of being involved in a theft at an Albertsons store.

Moreover, responders pronounced a woman in her 60s who was an occupant of a BMW involved in the crash, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officers transported the suspect, identified as 43-year-old Hanzal of Anaheim, to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. Authorities confirmed that the suspect is facing charges that include petty theft, hit-and-run, and felony evading.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
