1 Dead in Oakland Crash on Interstate Highway 880 and 7th Street
OAKLAND, CA (February 21, 2022) – Early Sunday, Anthony Coleman died in a motorcycle accident on Interstate Highway 880 and 7th Street.
The incident occurred just after 12:30 a.m. in the right lane of Interstate Highway 880. According to reports, the incident involved a motorcycle and a BMW.
Meanwhile, the preliminary investigation revealed that a BMW traveled in the carpool lane near the Seventh Street off-ramp. Then, it hit the motorcycle from behind and overturned.
As a result, 34-year-old Anthony Coleman of San Francisco died at the scene. Meanwhile, the BMW driver and a passenger suffered no injuries.
Also, the authorities shut down the crash scene but has been cleared by 4:30 a.m.
