3 Hurt in San Diego Valley DUI Accident on Jamacha Boulevard
SPRING VALLEY, CA (November 24, 2020) – On Monday, authorities arrested Anthony Blanco in a crash on Jamacha Boulevard.
According to CHP Officer Travis Garrow, the incident happened at around 1:40 a.m.
Apparently, an eastbound 2013 Ford Focus driven by Anthony Ryan Blanco veered towards the westbound lanes of the road.
Then, the Spring Valley man struck a 1996 Toyota Camry sedan head-on.
The driver of the sedan, a 27-year-old Chula Vista man, and a 26-year-old male frontside passenger were rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego.
As a result, both of them suffered major but non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, responders transported Blanco to Sharp Memorial Hospital with minor injuries and were later arrested on suspicion of felony DUI.
Moreover, authorities booked Blanco into San Diego Central Jail and a bail of $400,000 was set pending his arraignment on Dec 4, 2020.
