Driver Dies after Crashing Head-On with Semi Truck at Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue

 
NUEVO, CA (December 10, 2019) – A man died in a head-on crash Tuesday evening in the unincorporated Nuevo area of Riverside County.
 
The fatal crash happened around 9:35 p.m. near the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a semi truck and a pickup truck collided head-on. As a result, the pickup truck driver died at the scene.
 
The coroner’s office identified the victim as 51-year-old Anthony Armenta of Hemet.
 
The specific cause of the crash and who may be at fault remain under investigation.
