Indio, CA (September 3, 2024) – 14-year-old Anthony Alvarado Lemus of Indio was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Indio Boulevard late Sunday afternoon.

The deadly collision between an sedan and two SUVs happened at 5:23 p.m. at Fargo Street, west of the Jackson Street bridge.

Lemus was a passenger in one of the involved vehicles.

Meanwhile, other people in the vehicles were taken to hospitals with moderate to serious injuries.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
