Police need the public’s help Tuesday to find the hit-and-run driver who fatally struck 11-year-old girl in Highland.
The authorities revealed that Annika lived in Denver, Colorado. She was walking with two cousins when the incident occurred.
“Who can kill somebody’s baby and leave [her] laying in the street? And not even stop, is beyond me. All they care about is themselves,” the victim’s father said.
Meanwhile, the authorities described the involved vehicle as a dark-colored SUV that had been driving south on Church Street when the crash occurred.
As the authorities seek for new leads, they encourage anyone with information to call Deputy T. Houn or the Highland Police detective bureau at (909) 425-9793.
