Christopher Mansfield and Judith Lawrence Injured in Auto Accident near Marble Quarry Road in Sonora
Sonora, CA (April 22, 2020) – Friday night, 46-year-old Anna Veredas of Sonora, was arrested for felony DUI that caused the collision on Parrotts Ferry Road.
Emergency responders rushed to the area near Porcina Way and Marble Quarry Road around 10:00 p.m., on April 17.
Veredas was driving a 2017 Honda Civic heading south on Parrotts Ferry Road. According to reports, 63-year-old Christopher Mansfield, was heading north in his 2003 Ford Explorer when Veredas veered into the northbound lane. There, she struck the Ford head-on.
Due to the impact of the collision, Mansfield sustained serious injuries. He was then transported to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto for further treatment. However, there has been no update on his current condition.
Meanwhile, Veredas and Judith Lawrence, a 64-year-old passenger of the Ford suffered minor to moderate injuries. She was treated at the Adventist Health Sonora.
Police Investigation
After further investigation, Veredas was suspected of felony DUI and was later arrested.
