1 Killed and 2 Injured in Two-Car Crash at Peralta Place

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (May 27, 2018) – A woman was fatally injured and two others were injured after a two-vehicle collision on Limonite Avenue, early Sunday evening. The deceased victim was identified as 56-year-old Anna Humphreys.
 
At around 5:36 PM, officers from the Jurupa Valley Police Department responded to a report of a major traffic collision on Limonite Avenue at Peralta Place. Officers found a blue sedan and a silver SUV, both with major damage, upon arriving at the scene.
 
An adult female and two juveniles were trapped in the SUV and had to be extracted by California Department of Forestry personnel. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment, but Humphreys succumbed from her injuries and was pronounced dead. One of the juveniles was confirmed to be in critical condition. The occupant of the blue sedan was also rushed to a local hospital for unidentified injuries. Her identitiy was not immediately available.
 
The Jurupa Valley Station’s Traffic Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident to determine the cause of the collision.
