Fresno, CA (September 7, 2022) On Wednesday, 21-year-old Angelica Beltran of Fresno died after a big rig-pedestrian accident on Highway 99.

The CHP says that the fatal semi-truck crash happened near the Olive Avenue off-ramp.

Reports say that a big rig fatally struck Beltan, who was in the middle lane of the highway. Apparently, the truck driver was not able to notice Beltran and eventually ran the victim over.

Officials pronounced Beltran dead at the scene.
