Shahed Mahmood of Florida Involved in Spokane Collision
Spokane, WA (January 01, 2022) – On Friday, 28-year-old Angela Kondratyuk, of Kennewick, died in a semi-truck crash on Intertstate 90.
Officers said Kondratyuk in an eastbound Toyota Avalon near the Spokane Amazon distribution center lost control of her vehicle.
Similarly, 47-year-old Shahed Mahmood of Florida, was unable to stop the big rig he was driving and struck Kondratyuk’s car.
Kondratyuk’s vehicle spun 360 degrees before it got stuck under the front of a semi truck.
Rescuers took Kondratyuk to Sacred Heart Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
On the other hand, Mahmood did not sustain injuries from the accident.
Upon investigation, the officers said that Kondratyuk was driving too fast for road conditions.
Reports said she was driving from Kennewick to Spokane for her wedding preparations. She and her fiancé were set to get married on February 5, 2022.
