3 People Dead in Oldham County Auto Accident on Interstate 40
OLDHAM COUNTY, TX (August 5, 2024) – Saturday morning, Angele Aguilar and two other people died in a fatal rollover crash on Interstate 40.
The incident happened at around 10:34 a.m. on westbound Interstate 40.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a westbound 2005 Chevrolet Silverado veered off the roadway, entered the center median, and rolled over multiple times before it came to rest in the south ditch. Then, the force of the crash ejected the occupants of the vehicle into the roadway.
Responders pronounced the driver of the vehicle, identified as 20-year-old Aguilar of Hereford, and her 15-year-old female and 9-year-old female passengers, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a 5-month-old passenger of the vehicle to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the DPS continued to investigate the crash.
