Angel Romero of Humble Killed in FM 1008 Head-On Collision [Dayton, TX]

Dayton, TX (May 7, 2023) – On Friday, Angel Romero, 22, of Humble, and Jesse Grider Jr, 42, of Splendora, were killed in an FM 1008 head-on collision.

It was about 4:36 a.m. when the fatal collision took place a half-mile north of Dayton.

Investigating officers said a 2002 GMC Yukon driven by Grider Jr was northbound on the highway when he swerved into the path of an oncoming 2008 Chevy Silverado driven by Romero.

Unfortunately, both Romero and Grider Jr died at the crash scene.

The authorities are investigating the fatal accident.
