Angel Ojeda Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on University Way Northeast [Seattle, WA]

Seattle Resident Hospitalized in Seattle Hit-and-Run Collision

Seattle, WA (February 23, 2022) – On February 18, Angel Ojeda of Seattle sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on University Way Northeast.

The accident took place at 8:30 p.m. at the intersection with Northeast 55th St.

Ojeda was crossing the road when a southbound black Scion sedan smashed into him.

The driver did not stop after the incident, but continued driving.

Ojeda is in the ICU at Harborview Medical Center. However, he doesn’t remember what happened on the day of the accident.

His family said he was meeting with some friends to see a local band play at the Kraken Bar and Lounge on Friday. 

Ojada’s sister say he sustained broken femur, fractured pelvis, broken ribs, broken clavicle, broken eye socket,”

Moreover, officers confirmed that the suspect vehicle is a 2004-2006 dark-colored Scion XB. The vehicle was likely to be damaged to the front end.

The authorities are investigating this incident.
