Angel Molina Struck and Killed in Lakeland Village Crash, Arturo Swadener Arrested
Lakeland Village, CA (October 22, 2020) – On Tuesday, 65-year-old pedestrian Angel Molina of Lake Elsinore died in a hit and run crash on Grand Avenue.
Indeed, authorities reported the fatal Lakeland Village accident happened at 12:10 a.m.in the 18200 block of Grand Avenue.
As a result of the crash, Mr. Molina was pronounced dead at the scene.
Moreover, the suspect driver that hit Molina with the car fled the scene before police arrived.
Later on the California Highway Patrol managed to track the suspect driver to a nearby address on Adelfa Street.
There, they found 66-year-old Arturo Swadener. After questioning, Swadener admitted to hitting the victim with his 2004 Nissan Titan truck.
Subsequently, police arrested him for felony hit-and-run in the deadly crash.
