2-Year-Old Girl Dies in I-5 Solo-Vehicle Crash
Fresno County, CA (March 19, 2022) – On Thursday, officers arrested 29-year-old Angel Meza Michel of Richmond in a DUI crash on Interstate 5 killing a 2-year-old girl.
The collision took place before midnight north of 25th Avenue.
Michel was driving a southbound 2007 Honda when he allowed his vehicle to drift into a shoulder. His car overturned near Kettleman City.
Unfortunately, Michel’s 2-year-old girl passenger succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The paramedics rushed Michel to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno with major injuries.
Moreover, officers withheld the deceased’s name. They arrested Michel on suspicion of DUI.
