KINGS COUNTY, CA (October 25, 2022) – Friday, a motorcycle crash near Jersey Avenue and 16th Avenue involved Andrew Diaz.
The incident happened at about 11:40 p.m. on Jersey Avenue and 16th Avenue.
According to reports, a deputy at a traffic stop near Jackson Avenue and 14th Avenue heard several gunshots from Jersey Avenue and 16th Avenue.
Officers said that Andrew Diaz sped by at nearly 100 miles per hour in his vehicle. Then, the deputy tried to pull over Diaz’s vehicle, but he declined and the chase began.
As the chase continued, Diaz blew through several stop signs at speeds of 100 miles per hour. Thus, deputies stopped the chase while Diaz continued to drive recklessly toward Hanford.

As a result, the rider sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
