Andrew Davidson Killed in Tragic 2-Vehicle Crash on Van Buren Boulevard [Riverside, CA]

Riverside, CA (April 24, 2023) On Monday morning, 23-year-old Andrew Davidson of Riverside, died in a 2-vehicle crash on Van Buren Boulevard.

Authorities say that the deadly traffic collision happened around 8:40 a.m. near California Avenue.

According to the Riverside Police Department, Davidson was on a 2020 Yamaha that collided with a 2007 Toyota Camry. Officials say that the motorcycle was northbound on Van Buren in the No. 2 lane when the collision happened.

The impact of the crash ejected the off-duty deputy onto the road, and afterward, the motorcycle burst into flames. Samaritans were able to extinguish the flames immediately.

Medics rushed Davidson to a hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the Toyota driver, identified as a 66-year-old Riverside man, was also taken to a hospital for minor injuries sustained from the crash.
