Dead and Multiple Others Hospitalized during Hard Summer Music Festival at Auto Club Speedway
FONTANA, CA (August 5, 2018) – The authorities confirmed that one person was killed late Sunday evening, during the Hard Summer Music Festival held at Auto Club Speedway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Andrew Click, a concert attendee from Tracy, was taken to a local area hospital and was pronounced dead at 11:45 PM. 23 other people were hospitalized for various medical issues.
The cause of the death is unknown art this time, as autopsy results have not yet been confirmed.
Officials said that at least eleven people were already arrested primarily for drug offenses. Officials with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department are still investigating details of the events that took place at the concert. More than 80,000 people attended the event to see performers like Travis Scott, Marshmello, Diplo, and more.
No additional information has been released to the public at this time, as investigation continues.
