James Santa Maria Struck and Killed in Wheatland Accident on State Route 65

WHEATLAND, CA (September 12, 2021) – Andrew Bailey, 23, was involved in a pedestrian crash on State Route 65, wherein James Santa Maria was fatally struck.

According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 11:35 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on State Route 65, north of Dry Creek Levee Road.

Reports revealed that the 2016 Ford Fusion struck a male pedestrian wearing dark clothes. The deadly Wheatland accident occurred as the pedestrian walked in an unlit area of State Route 65.
