Andrew Avalos From Ceres Dies in Vehicle Crash on Kiernan Avenue [Ceres, CA]

Ceres, CA (October 08, 2021) – On Thursday, 25-year-old Ceres man, Andrew Avalos, dies in a three-vehicle crash on Kiernan Avenue.

The fatal traffic crash took place at around 4 a.m. 

Officers said a westbound Honda sedan slowed for a red light at Tully Road. However, the vehicle behind it, a 1973 Datsun coupe driven by Avalos, failed to slow down in time and rear-ended the Honda.

Shortly after the crash, another westbound vehicle failed to stop in time and rear-ended the Datsun. 

Officers said Avalos was not wearing a seat belt during the crash. Unfortunately, he sustained major injuries in the crash.

Rescuers took him to Doctors Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. 

The authorities believed he incurred fatal injuries in the first accident.

Meanwhile, the drivers of the other two vehicles were not injured in the crash.
