One Killed and Three Injured in Accident on Intersection of Main Street and Yorktown Avenue
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (April 11, 2018) – On Wednesday night around 7:30 PM, a fatal accident took place on the intersection of Main Street and Yorktown Avenue.
According to police spokeswoman, Officer Angela Bennett, the collision involved a Porsche 911 and a Ford Mustang. Driver of the Porsche, 46-year-old Andres Batta of Huntington Beach, was traveling westbound on Yorktown Ave. The 20-year-old driver of the Ford was making a northbound turn onto Main from Yorktown, when the two cars collided.
Batta sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. The driver of the Mustang and two other passengers suffered minor injuries; one person had to be cut from the wreckage.
