Oildale, CA (July 6, 2020) – On Sunday, 41-year-old Andrea Wood was severely injured in a pedestrian accident on Roberts Lane.
 
The incident happened at about 2:00 a.m. westbound on Roberts Lane, west of Plymouth Avenue.
 
Wood was walking southbound, crossing Roberts Lane when she was hit by a car.
 
The involved driver immediately fled the scene.
 
Immediately, the rescuers transported Wood to Kern Medical where she is treated due to major injuries.
 
Police continue to investigate the incident. It is still unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
