29-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with FedEx Truck near 15 Freeway
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (July 7, 2019) – A woman lost her life Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle accident on 210 Freeway. Loved ones later identified the victim as 29-year-old Andrea Olivas of Mira Loma.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on the transition road between the west 210 Freeway and the 15 Freeway south, at about 2:10 PM. A 2013 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling between two lanes at an undetermined speed when it collided with a Toyota Corolla.
The impact of the collision ejected Olivas from her motorcycle. Then, she landed on 15 Freeway, where a FedEx tractor-trailer hit her.
Unfortunately, Olivas suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Meanwhile, the FedEx driver remained and cooperated with investigators. However, it is unknown whether or not the Toyota driver stopped to render aid.
