Injuries Sustained in Palm Desert Car Accident
PALM DESERT, CA (December 10, 2018) – Major injuries were reported a drunken driver was detained following a suspected DUI car collision on December 6.
The three-vehicle major-injury collision was reportedly caused by 32-year-old Andre Rosales of Coachella. Rosales was detained on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol following the crash.
Sheriff’s Sgt. Christopher Ternes revealed that the incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Fred Waring Drive and Town Center Way.
According to Ternes, Rosales “failed to stop at the red light at Town Center and collided with two vehicles.” Due to the collision, major injuries were sustained by an unknown number of parties.
“During the investigation, it was determined that Rosales showed the symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol,” Ternes said. “Rosales was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and booked into the Riverside County Jail in Banning.”
According to records, Rosales’ bail was $50,000.
