ANAHEIM, CA – One Injured in Crash on Highway 241 near 91 Freeway

Morning Collision on Highway 241 in Anaheim, Injuries Reported

 
ANAHEIM, CA (January 17, 2019) – One person was injured following a traffic collision Thursday morning in Anaheim, CHP officials said.
 
The collision happened around 7:45 a.m. on northbound Highway 241, just South of 91 Freeway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Honda Accord, a blue Jeep and a white Volkswagen Jetta were involved for unknown reasons. One of the cars reportedly slid out of control into the center divider and a 25 feet guardrail was damaged.
 
Fire officers responded to the scene and found one patient with unspecified injuries. The individual was transported by ambulance to Kaiser Permanente Anaheim Medical Center for proper treatment.
 
Towing services was requested to remove the vehicles from the wreckage.
 
At least two freeway lanes were blocked by firefighters while they worked on the scene.
 
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the accident and liability.
