Truck Hits Motorcycle on 57 Freeway in Anaheim Injuring the Rider
ANAHEIM, CA (May 3, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured following a traffic collision Friday morning in Anaheim.
The collision happened around 11:45 a.m. on southbound 57 Freeway, just North of 91 Freeway.
According to the CHP, a motorcycle was hit by a truck, causing the rider to crash into a blue Honda CRV on the right shoulder.
Fire crews responded to the scene and located the rider with a possible broken leg but still responsive. Paramedics took the injured rider to a hospital to receive proper treatment.
A SigAlert was issued in the area, blocking the third and fourth lanes for about 30 minutes while evidence from the scene was collected.
It is unknown if drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
