MODESTO, CA (September 1, 2024) – Thursday night, Ana Rodriquez was involved in a fatal pedestrian crash on Highway 99 and Ninth Street.

The incident happened at around 11:40 p.m. on Highway 99 and Ninth Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound vehicle struck a 30-year-old female pedestrian who was walking into oncoming traffic.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the pedestrian died in the crash.

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the driver of the vehicle, identified as 53-year-old Winton resident Rodriquez, remained at the scene and sustained no injuries in the incident.
