One Injured and One Arrested after Menifee DUI Collision on Scott Road near I-215 Overpass
MENIFEE, CA (April 18, 2018) – A head-on collision on Scott Road resulted in minor injuries and the arrest of Amy Beth Pickle, a 33-year-old probationer, on Wednesday evening.
According to the officials handling the case, Pickle was heading east on Scott Road near the Interstate 215 overpass when she suddenly transferred to opposing lanes, striking a vehicle that was traveling west.
Pickle and the unnamed driver of the second vehicle were sent to the hospital with minor injuries. After receiving medical attention, Pickle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and probation violation. She was booked into the Cois M Byrd Detention Center and got released on Thursday morning.
Authorities stated that Pickle was already previously detained for a different case of DUI and was on probation when the crash happened. No other information is available at the moment.
