Ammie Presley Killed in Broadside Crash on Patterson Road [Oxnard, CA]

42-Year-Old Woman Identified as Victim Killed in Crash on Patterson Road

 
OXNARD, CA (August 25, 2019) – Authorities identified 42-year-old Ammie Presley of Oxnard as the woman killed in a broadside crash on Patterson Road, Sunday afternoon.
 
According to the Oxnard Police Department, the incident happened shortly after 1:00 PM. Due to unknown reasons, a dune buggy, driven by the victim, and a Dodge Caravan van collided near Gonzales Road.
 
Emergency responders rushed Presley to Ventura County Medical Center with serious injuries. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries days after the collision. Meanwhile, her 40-year-old male passenger suffered moderate injuries.
 
The 18-year-old Oxnard man driving the van remained and cooperated with investigators. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the fatal crash.
