Ambulances Respond to 5-Vehicle Crash on Vasco Road [Byron, CA]

Multi-Vehicle Injury Collision on Vasco Road near Camino Diablo

Byron, CA (January 29, 2022) On Friday, fire engines and 3 ambulances responded to a 5-Vehicle Crash on Vasco Road.

The East Contra Costa Fire Protection District (ECCFPD) says the head-on collision occurred around 6:15 p.m. just south of Camino Diablo.

Additionally, police reports say that one of the vehicles was fully engulfed in flames.

Moreover, fire officials say there are a total of 6 patients including 2 people trapped in one of the vehicles.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says the roads were impassible until 8:43 p.m., although residual delays are normal.

The perverse actions of a reckless driver can increase the likelihood of traffic collisions. If you are a driver, pay close attention to those around you. Always keep a considerable distance from others just in case harm is near.
