Ambulance Respond to 2-Car Crash on the Midway [Durham, CA]

Driver Arrested in Durham 2-Vehicle Hit-and-Run Collision

Durham, CA (June 5, 2022) On Saturday, a person was taken away by an ambulance after a 2-car crash on the Midway.

Reports say that the hit-and-run crash happened before 5 p.m. at the overpass where the Midway crosses over the Union Pacific main line.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says that a northbound black Acura collided with a white Chevrolet.

Moreover, the collision caused both vehicles to lose control and crashed into the guardrails on the overpass.

Furthermore, the Acura driver attempted to escape by foot. However, authorities apprehended the driver and arrested him.

An ambulance transported a person to the hospital, no word on the severity of their injuries at this time.

Additionally, authorities are investigating the collision and have not released additional information regarding the incident.
