Fatality Reported in Colbert Accident on Highway 2 near Woodard Road
COLBERT, WA (September 27, 2020) – On Friday, a fatal crash on Highway 2 near Woodard Road left 36-year-old Amber McCoy dead in Colbert, Washington.
The Washington State Patrol revealed that the two-vehicle crash happened on Highway 2 near Woodard Road.
Due to the rollover crash, the road approximately 6 miles north of Spokane was shut down. However, at around 10:00 p.m., the northbound Highway 2 reopened. Furthermore, the southbound Highway 2 remained close at Woodard Road.
The authorities urged Washington motorists to use the signed detour that is in place.
The fatal Colbert crash remains under investigation.
