Bicyclist Amarpreet Singh Sall Identified as Fatality in Southwest Fresno Hit-And-Run
Fresno, CA – On Friday, authorities identified 37-year-old Amarpreet Singh Sall as the bicyclist struck and killed on June 20th in southwest Fresno.
More specifically, the fatal incident occurred at around 4:30 in the morning on Whitesbridge avenue and Hughes Avenue.
Amarpreet Singh Sall rode eastbound on Whitesbridge in the bicycle lane when a vehicle struck him from behind.
Immediately, paramedics rushed to the scene to aid the injured bicyclist.
Meanwhile, police could not locate the vehicle involved. At that point, it had already fled the scene.
Thus, authorities classified this case as a hit-and-run.
Shortly after, Mr. Sall died at the Community Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to the injuries he sustained earlier.
Currently, police say the driver at large ride a 2012-2017 white Honda Accord.
Additionally, the vehicle would have damage on the right front light, the passenger door windshield, and the right side mirror.
Anyone with information should contact detective Michael Buessing of the Fresno Police Department at 559-621-5066.
