Sacramento Woman Amalya Sukiasyan, Another Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Folsom Boulevard
La Riviera, CA ( 2021) On Friday, Amalya Sukiasyan was killed and another good Samaritan was injured after attempting to help a pedestrian injured in a crash on Folsom Boulevard.
According to California Highway Patrol (CHP), these good Samaritans tried to help a pedestrian that had just been hit in a separate accident.
Apparently, the first pedestrian was trying to cross Folsom Boulevard, when a car struck them.
Furthermore, reports said two good samaritans got off their vehicles to try and help the injured pedestrian.
Unfortunately, another vehicle driving through hit both of them.
CHP confirmed that one of them, Amalya Sukiasyan, died, while the injured parties were taken to the hospital, with their current conditions unknown.
Authorities say that the motorist who struck the two did not leave and stayed to cooperate. There is no word on the other vehicle.
Ms. Sukiasyan, 40, was a mother of four, who “would put everything that has to do with her aside and help everybody that she can get to,” according to friend Lena Kirakosyan.
