Alyssa Gomez Killed in Car Crash on Don Julian Road [CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA]

23-Year-Old Montebello Woman Dies after Crashing Car into Tree in City of Industry

 
CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA (October 30, 2019) – A woman died in a car accident Wednesday morning just after 9:00 a.m. in the 15400 block of Don Julian Road.
 
Authorities identified the victim Friday, November 1, as Alyssa Gomez, 23, of Montebello.
 
According to an initial report, Gomez was driving her vehicle eastbound when for unknown reasons, she crashed into a tree. The car then caught fire. The tree was damaged from the crash.
 
Gomez suffered traumatic head injuries and died at the scene. She was the sole occupant of the car.
 
The crash is possibly speed-related, according to authorities. Further investigation is underway.
