Alondra Valero Dead and 1 Hurt in Santa Rosa Car Crash on Highway 12 and Oakmont Drive

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (January 6, 2021) – Monday, Alondra Valero, 21, and Tomasa Vargas, 44, died in an accident on Highway 12.
 
Moreover, the incident occurred at 8:19 a.m. eastbound on Highway 12, west of Oakmont Drive.
 
According to CHP Officer David deRutte, the fatal accident happened east of Santa Rosa.
 
Subsequently, reports revealed that a 21-year-old Sonoma resident Brandt Valero drove a black Nissan Sentra. Her 44-year-old mother rode with her as a passenger.
 
Shortly after, the driver lost control of the car and veered left into the eastbound lanes. Meanwhile, an eastbound work truck crashed into the passenger side of the Nissan.
 
As a result, both mother and daughter succumbed to injuries at the scene.
 
Furthermore, the paramedics took the truck driver to a hospital for evaluation.
 
Indeed, the crash remains under active investigation.
